Dr. Andrew Meyers is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon with advanced expertise in both surgical and non-surgical musculoskeletal care. His specialized training and comprehensive, patient-centered approach ensure that his patients receive the highest quality, full-spectrum orthopedic care.

His journey into medicine began while earning his undergraduate degree in radiologic science at the University of Missouri. Early in his career as an X-ray technologist, he discovered his passion for orthopedic surgery, which led him to pursue a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University. Dr. Meyers then went on to complete his orthopedic surgery residency in Ventura, California, with training at nationally recognized institutions including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of Orange County. To further specialize in advanced spine care, Dr. Meyers completed a dedicated spine surgery fellowship at the Spine Institute of Louisiana. Committed to delivering innovative management strategies and leading in modern healthcare, Dr. Meyers is also actively pursuing his MBA at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to continually enhance the patient experience and the quality of his practice.

Dr. Meyers is passionate about providing personalized, evidence-based care to his patients. He has a special interest in motion-preserving technologies, endoscopic and arthroscopic techniques, minimally invasive surgery, and robotics, complemented by a comprehensive approach to pain management and enhanced recovery. His care philosophy centers around tailoring treatment plans to the individual needs and lifestyles of his patients, ensuring optimized outcomes and a return to an active life.

Although his sub-specialization is on the spine, Dr. Meyers still has a passion for all realms of orthopedics, including joint reconstruction, which he brings an additional option to the community by offering Anterior Total Hip Replacements.

Originally from Missouri and now proud to call North Louisiana home, Dr. Meyers brings a compassionate and skillful approach to the team. Outside of medicine, Dr. Meyers enjoys staying active through fitness, golf, hockey, and snowboarding/skiing. He has a keen interest in nutrition and wellness, and also pursues hobbies in aviation and automotive mechanics, often spending weekends flying aircraft or fine-tuning cars. An avid traveler, he loves exploring new destinations and cultures whenever possible.
