The North Louisiana Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic's mission beginning in 1951 is to provide a high level of orthopaedic care and treatment to citizens of Northeast Louisiana and surrounding areas to enable them to reach an optimal level of comfort and functioning.
In doing so, The North Louisiana Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic provides patients with convenient access to specialized state of the art medical services throughout our region. We believe that providing high-quality care is not only about the medical advice and treatment that we dispense, but more importantly about the relationships that we have with our patients.
"Over the years, we have progressed as medical techniques have advanced," said Dr. Myron Bailey. "We provide the same advanced services as major metropolitan areas offer, and we provide several convenient offices for our patients."

The 1980s proved to be a large growth period for the Orthopaedic Clinic. Medical needs west of the Ouachita River increased as the population expanded. A new office on McMillian Road in West Monroe was opened in order to provide more convenience and accessibility for patients.
Following the addition of the McMillan location, the main office transferred operations to the Physicians and Surgery Center on Grammont Street. The center began providing "Same Day Surgery" which reduced hospital costs to the patients.
The move to the new millennium provided another expansion for the physician group as an office in Ruston was added in 2004. The Ruston office assists those patients living in the North Central region of Louisiana and the South Central region of Arkansas.
In February 2009, the Clinic moved into its new building at 1501 Louisville Ave. This new facility combined the Lamy Lane clinic and Physical Therapy with the Physicians and Surgeons office into a single building. Later in October, 2012 the Clinic expanded its Rehabilitation services with the opening of a new location in West Monroe which provides added convenience to those patients living west of the Ouachita River.
What makes the Orthopeadic Clinic so successful is the staff and the physicians broad range of specialties. Those specialties include hand and foot reconstruction, sports medicine, spine surgery along with standard hip and knee replacements. In addition, each day the Clinic has an “on call” physician dedicated to the expedient treatment of patients having sustained an injury.
"Over the years, we have progressed as medical techniques have advanced," said Dr. Myron Bailey. "We provide the same advanced services as major metropolitan areas offer, and we provide three convenient offices for our patients."
The Orthopaedic Clinic of Monroe-West Monroe-Ruston mission began and remains to provide specialized state of the art medical services to the tri-state area.
